Quidam Blue is a young licensed and approved Hanoverian Stallion.

He completed the 70-day performance test in Warendorf, Germany as a three year old. Throughout the test he impressed with his calm character, pleasant mind and work attitude. He scored well in the rideability and excelled in the jumping phase. He finished with a combined index of 107.8, finishing 4th overall in the jumping category.

Quidam Blue's pedigree is filled with famous French, Holsteiner and Westphalian jumping bloodlines: these include the names of Quidam de Revel, Landgraf, Come On, Cantus, Pilot and Weinberg.

His grandsire Quidam de Revel and his maternal grandsire, Come On, were both most successful international show jumpers. His sire Quidam's Rubin was only granted a short life himself; in this short time he already stood out as an exceptional sire of performance horses and licensed stallions.

Quidam Blue started his own show career in 2010 with success. Besides numerous wins and placings in 1.10m classes he became the 2010 Champion of the 5-year-old Western Canadian Young Horse Series (Rocky Mountain Classic III in Calgary) and placed 6th in the 1.10m Mini-Prix of the Spruce Meadows Harvest Classic. In 2011 he collected many ribbons at the Spruce Meadows summer series under his amateur rider Beke Brinkmann and played his way into the 1.20m. He won 1.15m classes and won Reserve Champion in the Paramount 1.15m Derby.

Quidam Blue's first foal crop has already proven that he passes on his own eager character and solid basic gaits. His foals are just as elegant and charming as he is himself.

Equitop Farm is proud to offer such a promising stallion to the North American breeder for the 2012-breeding season.
