Equitop Farm and Maull's 77 Stock Farm (Mrs. Sue Maull) are pleased to announce a new partnership in the stallion Contado. He is a bay 4 year old registered Canadian Warmblood Stallion. Bred in Holland, he is sired by Canturo and out of an Ahorn Z dam. This spring, Contado was the winner of the Canadian Warmblood Free Jumping competition in the 4 year old division. He also won his first red ribbon in a Jumper Class for 4 year olds during the Bow Valley Classics in Calgary. At his first dressage show he received a score of 74% in the FEI 4 year old test, proving his versatility.

Quidam Blue arrived well at our farm in New Norway, Alberta after finishing his 70 day Performance Test in Warendorf, Germany. He is now being offered for stud service during 2009 breeding season.

We are pleased to announce the purchase of a young Hanoverian Stallion. His name is Quidam Blue. He is grey, 3 years of age, and is a registered and licensed Hanoverian. Quidam Blue is by Quidam's Rubin and out of a Come On dam.

He has been started under saddle and will remain in Germany until after the completion of his stallion performance test.

Unfortunately we have to announce the loss of our Hanoverian Stallion Warkanson. He died in February 2008 due to a sudden and severe colic at age 14.

Warkanson a son of the legendary Warkant, was imported in 1997 by Gerrit & Ute after he was licensed and performance tested. He sired many wonderful horses, the older ones currently competing successfully in jumper, hunter and dressage classes up to the highest levels throughout North America.

Warkanson will continue to influence the Canadian Warmblood breeding through his many outstanding offspring.

Hanoverian Stallion Regardez moves to Creekside Farm, Calgary. In the future Mrs. Linda Ackermann will offer his stud service for fresh cooled and frozen semen. We are very pleased to see him go to such a good home and beautiful new facility. We are looking forward to work together with Creekside Farm during this year's breeding season. Regardez sired so many nice riding horses since we imported him. Here at Equitop Farm he already sets his stamp onto the next generation; foals out of Regardez fillies.
