Grosso Gold was the winner of the 2008 'Free Jumping Challenge' in Olds, Alberta on April 5. He was the Champion in his 5/6 year old class and received the highest score overall.

We are pleased to announce the purchase of a young Hanoverian Stallion. His name is Quintano. He is grey, 3 years of age, and is a registered and licensed Hanoverian. Quintano is by Quidam's Rubin and out of a Come On dam.

He has been started under saddle and will remain in Germany until after the completion of his stallion performance test.

Unfortunately we have to announce the loss of our Hanoverian Stallion Warkanson. He died in February 2008 due to a sudden and severe colic at age 14.

Warkanson a son of the legendary Warkant, was imported in 1997 by Gerrit & Ute after he was licensed and performance tested. He sired many wonderful horses, the older ones currently competing successfully in jumper, hunter and dressage classes up to the highest levels throughout North America.

Warkanson will continue to influence the Canadian Warmblood breeding through his many outstanding offspring.

Hanoverian Stallion Regardez moves to Creekside Farm, Calgary. In the future Mrs. Linda Ackermann will offer his stud service for fresh cooled and frozen semen. We are very pleased to see him go to such a good home and beautiful new facility. We are looking forward to work together with Creekside Farm during this year's breeding season. Regardez sired so many nice riding horses since we imported him. Here at Equitop Farm he already sets his stamp onto the next generation; foals out of Regardez fillies.
